At North Georgia Angel House, we believe in nurturing growth through a supportive and structured environment. Our results-driven approach focuses on incentivizing positive choices, mirroring the expectations of life beyond the foster care system. Through our level system, good grades and responsible decisions are rewarded with increased privileges and freedom. This means more opportunities to spend time off-campus with friends and engage in the community, fostering both personal and academic development.
We welcome girls in the foster care system, aged 12-21, from all over Georgia. If you or someone you know fits this criteria, we invite you to reach out and begin the journey towards a brighter future.
Our Transitional Living Program (TLP) is designed for young women aged 16-21 in the foster care system, providing a bridge from traditional group home life to independent adulthood. In our TLP, residents live in a two-bedroom, one-bath apartment with staff accessibility, enabling them to start grocery shopping, preparing their own meals, and managing their daily routines with the support they need to succeed.
While living in this nurturing environment, our girls continue to receive essential case management services, tutoring, life skills training, and clinical support as they prepare for emancipation. This holistic approach ensures they are equipped with the tools and confidence needed to thrive as independent adults.
If you know a young woman in foster care ready to take the next step towards independence, contact us to learn more about our Transitional Living Program and start the admission process.
