Independent Living Services

Independent Living is a unique opportunity for girls ages 18 to 21 to expand upon and practice Independent Living Skills while learning to become active participants in their community.

Young adults in our program will enroll in school, obtain and maintain employment, and maintain their very own living space. Residents are encouraged to start out in an on campus apartment where they gain comfort and knowledge in the areas they need assistance in to be independent. Once they have graduated from the Transitional Living Program and are showing the  independence and maturity needed to be in their own apartment, they are assisted in transitioning into the community. Residents are responsible for paying their own bills, maintaining their home, making deposits into their IDA savings accounts, and attending work and school. Graduated Supervision allows our residents to learn in a safe environment, but still provides opportunities to grow and succeed on their own.
